  We spent the month of January on Tybee Island at Canty's Cottage. The cottage was extremely clean, comfortable and decorated with fun orignal beach artwork that made the cottage very cheerful. Mermaid Cottages staff made and effort to be certain that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Very nice group to rent from. We loved the location of our cottage across the street from the inlet on the southern end of the island. Tybee Island was a beautiful, down home place, nice easy pace with good restaurants and friendly people. It was everything we hoped for and more.

  I absolutely loved the cottage! It was decorated beautifully, was clean and had everything we needed for cooking, beach going, etc. I was impressed that I was called a couple of times to see if I needed anything. That has never happened to me before! Mary Elizabeth was totally awesome! What a wonderful experience and great vacation!

  I previously lived in Savannah but moved away over 20 years ago. I had the opportunity to come back for a visit during Pirate Fest Weekend with some old friends. My friends and I all had a great time and loved Canty's cottage. Although it was a few blocks away from the downtown area, we were able to walk to and from events with no problems and enjoyed getting to spend time with old friends and get caught up. I would recommend Canty's Cottage to my friends. I loved being able to go straight to the house without having to stop in the office to check in. On line check in is the best! This made the process smooth since there were several of us who came at different times and from different locations. Loved the atmosphere of the cottage!!!!!

  Yes, yes, do pick Canty's for your stay! Sis, I, & our doggies love this cozy cottage with its' shady yard, beachy rooms, & quiet neighborhood. From there we could watch boats and walk to the water & boat ramp! Many thanks to the staff & owner who were so gracious & helpful, even when we needed a temporary wheelchair ramp ~ it was ready waiting for us! So go enjoy for yourself!!

  This is the 2nd time I have stayed at Mermaid Cottages! I will definitely stay with them again! Diane and the Mermaids are very professional from the start of making the reservations until departure. Canty's Cottage was great in providing something for

  We were beyond pleased with our stay. It is the perfect location. Couldnt be more clean and Mermaid Management ROCKS!!! We arrived on friday and the next day they checked in on us to make sure everything was ok and gave us great suggestions of where to eat and what to not miss. It was wonderful and we wouldnt want to stay anywhere but with Mermaid Cottages! If you eat anywhere make sure it is Sundaes, it is amazing! Loved the pimento and tomato sandwich! The home owner was soooo sweet! Cannot wait to visit again soon!! and thanks so much for making our first visit to Tybee the greatest! The place was perfect!!!!

  I have stayed in several properties at Tybee. One of the things that I appreciated about this property were the owner's special touches. Very nicely decorated. Basic supplies furnished. Great cottage feel. A home away from home!!

  Mary Elizabeth, the owner of Canty's Cottage, clearly has pride of ownership of this great vacation rental. It's wonderfully maintained, very clean, and quite homey. There's ample space to hang out, the three bedrooms are nicely decorated, and there are nice extras like beach towels, a back patio, and two bicycles. We could walk to the beach in about 10 minutes (nice to not have to pay for parking) and the neighborhood around Canty's is just lovely. We hope to return and would definitely recommend it to others!

  The tv in the living room was of poor quality and cut off part of the top and bottom of the picture. It needs to be replaced. I bought a flat screen 26" Insignia tv(Best Buy brand) for $300.00 a few years ago. Consumer Reports high rating. It was great. Can get something a little bigger(37") for the same or a little more money.
  
  It would be very helpful to haver a few beach lounge chairs that we could carry to the nearby beach. Just inexpensive light lounge chairs.

  needed a bit more furniture to watch TV. another toilet would have been nice. closer to beach would have been awesome. TV in other room rather than kids would have been good also. We had a great time though and the outside furniture and grill worked good. A little more grass in back for kids to play. It was a little rough but overall was very good place to just relax. Most kitchen stuff was there which was nice. Water pressure was very low in kitchen sink which was strange. All other areas it was fine. Nice place and comfortable though. We enjoyed it. We had my dad and stepmom join us and it was fun. The storm messed us up a little bit and brought windy cold weather. We saw Fort Pulaski and lighthouse though. Have told friends already though about the place.

  We have been to Tybee many times, but this time was the best. Canty's was a great place to stay. We have 3 kids and it fit us perfectly. The house comes with two bikes and we rented two more from Tim's as well as a carrier for the baby. We rode all over the island. It was wonderful! Ready to come back.

  We spent our spring break in Canty's Cottage on Tybee Island and just loved it! The cottage was beautiful, quiet, super clean and perfect for all ages in the family. The beds were very soft and comfy...kitchen fully equipped...and cottage has lots of space and nice yard and porch. My children especially enjoyed the hammock out back and riding bikes all around. The beach is close by as well as plenty of places to eat and shop. We would highly recommend this cottage rental to anyone. It's even better than the photos!!

  Canty's Cottage was perfect for our family. Our boys were able to play soccer & baseball in the back yard and side yard. We enjoyed watching them from the tiki hut. It has many comfortable options for outdoor/indoor seating, with nice upgrades including granite countertops and a large pantry. It has a very "homey" feel. We enjoyed walking & riding bikes everywhere - to dinner, the beach, and to a nearby spot to watch the beautiful sunset!
