  Sea Largo was very clean and cute! It gave us the home feeling we were looking for. It was very close; within walking distance to beach, and in a quiet area. You could go outside at any time and someone would be walking or riding bikes and they would speak to you!!! Can't wait to go back!!!!!

  We were in Tybee for our daughter's wedding. The cottage was exactly as pictured on the web site. We were not disappointed in anyway. I was especially impressed with the cleanliness and condition. The beach, grocery, resturants, and shops were only a short
  walk away. Our Chocolate Lab, Taz, enjoyed the fenced yard and screened porch as much as we did. However, his favorites were the Beach Bum Biscuits that were provided. We would difinitely go back.

  Sea Largo, and the Tybee Island experience was soooo relaxing; I wish I didn't have to leave! Southern hospitality was evident, and no one was too busy to say hello. This was my husband's and children's first experience with the ocean, and I couldn't get
  them out-especially my husband! A great place to de-stress, no matter how short or long the visit. We will definitely be back! Thank you Mermaid Cottages and Tybee Island for making this a most memorable vacation.

  We had a fantastic time on Tybee Island. The games came in very handy one rainy afternoon, and the beach cart was a lifesaver! The house is adorable and located in the perfect walking distance to the beach and ice cream shop.

  This was my first time staying at the Sea Largo and it might be one of my favorite cottages. The kitchen was big, so we did lots of cooking. The screened porch was also huge and great for lounging. Lots of space to kick back, read magazines and chat. Plus, can't beat this location. Being able to walk to the beach so quickly (and the IGA!) was fantastic. Will definitely stay here again!

• The cottage was in a great location. We walked to resturants and to the beach easily. The cottage had everything we needed and expected...plus some extras like coffee to enjoy in the morning!

  Oh wow! I was so impressed with the Sea Largo! I will most definatly be back. It was so clean and the air was on when we arrived so it was nice and cool.love the hamock and screened porch. It was such a short walk to the beach we never had to move our car. The place was stocked with everything you need even beach towels extra blankets and pillows.Take my advise and just bring your cloths and a toothbrush everything else you need is there.Best trip to Tybee Island ever! We'll be back very soon.The deck was aweasome to and I love the outside shower so you can rinse off the sand before you go in.I can't tell you how clean and nice this place was.   Sweet little Sea Largo was perfect for just the two of us. We are bed and sheet snobs and give Sea Large five stars for the beds and sheets! Comfortable with crisp sheets that were the epitomy of what you should find in a cottage. We would have liked a little more information and maybe menus for island eateries. For example; we didn't know that you should make reservations at one of the island restaurants. The location of the cottage was perfect for us. Perfect for biking! I would love to see a bottle tree in the yard. We loved and our stay and hope to return to experience another cottage with Mermaid Cottages and Tybee Island. We were able to attend the Tybee Island Tour of Homes which was so much fun. I got to meet Joan Cosick which was also great. I've admired her work for years. It was all great, relaxing, fun!

  We really appreciated the chance to stay in one of the mermaid cottages for one night on our way home after a cruise.They were very helpful in letting us stay one night and in offering restaurant suggestions,etc..I have looked at the cottages online and think they are so cute and just love what Jane Coslick has done with some of them and the way they are decorated.Sea Largo was not one that we would choose again.I hate to complain because we were allowed to rent for just one night but we found a few problems.Our sheets were so sandy that we just slept on top of the top sheet instead of under the covers.We all were itching like there may be a flea problem and we saw several bugs in the bathroom and ants in the kitchen.Having said all the bad let me just say that I would use them again and just stay somewhere different and ask about these things in advance.Maybe just a good bug man could help and as far as the sheets go (that was a little gross) I am just hoping that they had been changed.I do hope to come again for longer and I would definitely want a mermaid cottage and I am sure it would be a great experience.Their houses are so cute and the lady that helped us on the phone was so nice and even apologetic over having to charge us so much for one night because of the cleaning fee.

  Location/location/location- We were able to walk to almost every place we wished to go.
  Quiet street and nice people around us. Noisy dogs next door, but, they were tolerable as we are "doggie" people. I would stay here again.
  The screened in porch and the side deck are wonderful places to relax. Parking(in town) at 1.50 per hour is a bit much, but, we were lucky that we did not have to suffer that much.

  This cottage is in a great location on a very nice quiet street...right on the bike path. You'll love the comfortable furniture on the screen porch for morning coffee and afternoon drinks. There were bicycles provided in the building out back so we never had to get in the car while we were there. You can bike to the park, lighthouse and restaurants and a very short walk to the beach. Be sure to try AJ's Crab Stew and Geralds Shrimp and Pig has the best Hushpuppies and shrimp around. Tybee Island is a great place to relax and unwind...

  Very convenient location. House was very well supplied with everything one could want but it needed a good cleaning. Roof leak in front corner of house had not been repaired, paneling was warped. Mold was growing on the front corner of house and probably inside the wall where leak occurred. Baseboards & inside of screened porch needed a good cleaning. Deck and deck chairs needed to be powerwashed. Huge dogs next door woke us every night barking.

  What a wonderful cottage on Tybee Island. The place is nicely appointed with every thing we needed from thick, soft towels to plenty of wine glasses! The owners clearly love dogs which suited us fine; and, while the neighbor houses 3 barky dogs we managed to enjoy their ambiance too. A perfect place for kayakers as it is near the local launch sites and the outdoor shower works well for rinse all the sandy equipment. Enjoy and have fun at Sea Largo!
