  • Welcome to our cottage! We LOVE our home and love sharing the peace, quiet and true haven we've created.
  • The front yard is also fenced in with parking in front of the cottage for up to three cars. All off street parking.
  • Even birds are welcome here in our cheerful cottage!
  • This is the front door from the steps in the front. They open up to the side screened porch and the cottage front door.
  • The back door leads to the pool and deck. Lots of seating to enjoy the eastern side of the cottage. Plenty of morning light as the sun rises.
  • The porch runs the length of the cottage and leads out to the back yard , pool and deck.
  • The porch has lots of wicker seating to relax, read and just enjoy Tybee.
  • The back deck and pool is accessible from the screened porch back steps. The pool has lots of seating to relax and enjoy.
  • The pool is actually great to swim laps or just to splash, play and cool off. The yard is fully fenced in the back areas.
  • The pool area features lots of seating and even a couple of umbrellas to enjoy.
  • We have just added a private outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Enough sunshine and fresh air to know you're outside, but still privacy . Located just off to the side of the screened porch and pool.
  • This door leads out to the large screened side porch. This is the large TV . The home has beautiful wood floors.
  • This picture showes the counter seating looking into the kitchen as well as the high ceilings and the large wall mounted TV.
  • The great room is a combination of the open kitchen, family sitting room with TV and seating. The ceiling soars with open space and beautiful wood beams. Natural light with the many windows everywhere.
  • The kitchen is full of Englis Tea pots and bright and cheerful features like this kitchen light!
  • The dining table has both chairs and a built in wooden bench. Seating for 6 people plus additional seating at the kitchen counter.

  • The kitchen is an open kitchen with beautiful open shelves and wooden counter tops. The home is also stocked with our Mermaid Cottage coffee service as well as spices to cook with.

  • This door looks towards the third bedroom which has a twin bed and the library.
  • The third bedroom features a twin bed, a tv and lots of books. There is not a door but a curtain to close for privacy.

  • The first floor bedroom features a queen bed and full master bathroom. Hardwood floors, TV and windwos everywhere.
  • Bedroom 1 also features a TV, seating and even a door leading out to the screened side porch and back yard pool. This door leads into the full bathroom.
  • Full bathroom with tub/ shower. There is another full bathroom upstairs with the 2nd Queen bedroom
  • The stairs lead to the upstairs 2nd Queen Bedroom and 2nd full bath room
  • The upstairs bedroom features a queen bed, sitting area and full bath. Lots and lots of natural light. So relaxing and welcoming- just like the entire cottage.
  • Decorated in soft english florals with heart of pine floors.
  • We also have a tv and cable in this bedroom
  • A full bathroom. We also have another full bathroom downstairs.

What more can we say- a pool with a deck in the back, a cottage charming beyond belief, a screened porch going down the side of the cottage, books, art and hardwood floors, complimentary WIFI and PET FRIENDLY! PS - there is a fenced-in back deck! This cottage is located on the north end of the island directly across from Jaycee Park which has a play ground and wonderful walking path all around the park. Great for strolling with your family or walking your dog. The North Beach is just a short walk right down Solomon Avenue where the cottage is located. The Historic Tybee Light Station, Museum and Light house is also a very short walk away from the park. The world famous North Beach Grill is quick walk down the street. The owner of the cottage is a Yoga teacher and the entire cottage reflects peace and calm. Hence the name... Ommm Sweet Home!

    This is a perfect beach house for a small family. It was a nice short bike ride to the beach down the quiet road and it was great having access to the park and the trail. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We are already looking forward

    We very much appreciated the gravel one-way road which made traffic non-existent. Being across from the park was great too! Wish there were more comfy seating in living area. Very much enjoyed screened porch.

    The house is adorable. Just what a beach cottage should look like, only negative was the lack of comfortable seating in the living area. There was only one very small loveseat. The screened porch was great and we spent most of our time out there. The bedrooms were lovely and the beds the MOST comfortable of anywhere I have ever stayed. Liked the location, it was nice and quiet. My sister and her family were staying in their RV at the campground, it was so close to run back and forth. The pool was a nice added feature since it was so hot during our stay. It was a little dirty when we arrived.... there was quite a lot of sand on the bottom. Also the outside shower did not work. Overall it was a great experience and we really enjoyed our stay on the island.
