  • Welcome to Tybee Time and Madelyn's!
  • Don't you just love the polka dot shutters and red flower boxes.
  • The outdoor private shower has hot and cold water. Who wouldn't want to take a shower in a polka dotted shower where the sun is shining above!
  • We love this outdoor shower!!!!
  • The back porch has wicker seating and overlooks the marsh. The stackable Washer and Dryer is behind the seashell curtain.
  • The screened porch overlooks the marsh. It's so bright and cheerful!
  • Time for fun on Tybee!
  • Although on vacation - you will want to get up early with a cup of "Mermaid Morning Bliss" coffee and enjoy the sunset over the marsh!
  • The swing looks directly over the marsh and the sunrise over the marsh.
  • This view shows the cottage in the backround along with the picnic table.
  • The back yard has a picnic table and swing. The swing is back at the end of the yard over looking the marsh.
  • The cottage is petite and perfect! The living space is a combination of living room, dining area (seats 4) and kitchen.
  • The living room also have the large cable TV with DVD.
  • Can you see all of the fun touches? The parrot pillows, the animal print cotton slipcovers? The windows have beautiful IKEA cotton curtains to let the sunshine in yet give you the privacy.
  • These parrot pillows are on the sofa in the living room area.
  • The dining area and kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked and includes everything you need.There is not a dishwasher. Don't forget, we have a full coffee service and it includes Mermaid Morning Bliss coffee! Available for you to enjoy - and go by Seaside Sisters Shop and pick some up to take home - proceeds go to save our SeaTurles!
  • The kitchen leads right out to the screened porch.
  • The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for preparing all those southern meals! Or great fresh seafood! We do NOT have a dishwasher- but everything else is supplied.
  • As with all our cottages- we offer a basic coffee service which includes our very own Mermaid Morning Bliss coffee. It's brewed by Jittery Joe's from Athens, GA and was custom created for us. The coffee is for sale and part of the proceeds goes toward supporting Sea Turtle Projects in Georgia.
  • We sell both the coffee and the old fashioned diner mugs - but you are welcome to enjoy the coffee while you are staying with us. All our homes feature the coffee.
  • The back of our Mermaid Morning Bliss coffee tin
  • The Mermaid Mug is available at Seaside Sisters.
  • Leonard the Sandman has painted these wonderful beachy sayings all over the cottage.
  • ...counting palm trees while your head is cradled in beautiful flower pillows...a blissful sleep awaits you...
  • The Master bedroom has a king bed and cable TV.
  • Cozy and comfy! Wonderful photos of tybee are featured.
  • We love this king bedroom. So bright, cheerful!
  • This is in the master bedroom. A bedroom perfect flat screen with cable for you to enjoy - all of our cottages have free wi-fi!
  • Every little detail is thought of!
  • We LOVE this bedroom! The natural light pours into this bedroom! The colors are kahaki and seafoam blue with touches of white!
  • What a fun place for the kids to make memories - giggling to sleep!

124 Lewis Avenue, Tybee Island, GA What a charming beach cottage! From the polka dotted shutters to the back porch to the comfy and cozy feeling everywhere in the cottage, you'll just want to snuggle in and relax! Pets of all sizes are welcome, please note- there is NOT a fenced in yard - lots of running and playing space, but not fully fenced. The back yard has a picnic table and swing so you can enjoy the morning sunrise over the Marsh. The marsh also has plenty of birds to watch for those of you who love birding! Complimentary WIFI . The home is located on Lewis Avenue which is a family friendly street. The beach is a 15 minute walk - either walking down Lewis to 6th Street or walking down Butler Avenue. Don't forget to look for the beach sayings that Leonard the Sandman has painted on the walls in the cottage.

    The stay was great, the cottage was exactly as pictured and described on the web site. We had a wonderful time and will stay with Mermaid again next year.

    A full length mirror would be nice (Walmart, about $8) stuck to the inside of a closet door or something.

    There was intensive construction at the cottage next door, with workmen, nail guns, etc., so be warned that this is NOISY and some guests may complain.

    We visited Tybee to run in the inaugural Savannah Rock-and-Roll marathon. The cottage was a perfect place to stay because we could cook our own meals but also visit the local restaurants and take the shuttle to the race. Recommend Huc-a-poos! We would definitely stay here again! The mermaids took great care of us and made sure we took advantage of the shuttle and had everything we needed. The coffee was a really nice touch that we appreciated.

    My boyfriend & I really liked Madelyn's ~ it was cute & in a nice quiet neighborhood. We would suggest having bikes to get to the beach. Not an awful walk but a lot easier w/ bikes. The only thing we thought was missing in the cottage was a little radio.
    Other than that it has all the basics covered. (It even had vinegar & baking soda to help remedy the jellyfish stings my boyfriend unfortunately got zapped with.) Thank you Mermaids!

    We were on Tybee for the weekend for our son's beach wedding - which was absolutely beautiful. Loved the house - it's too cute. However, there are some additions that should be made to the bathroom to make it a little more accommodating - plugs for blow dryer, etc. and towel racks. Beds were very comfortable and loved the back porch

    Madelyn's on the Marsh is a perfect little cottage for some much needed R&R. The house was spotless, nicely decorated and was well stocked. They even had beach towels and local guide books, which came in handy. The location is on a quiet street away from the crowds but yet walkable to the beach, stores and restaurants. Can't wait to return soon.
