  We had a lovely stay at charming "Screened Inn". The cottage was just as it appears in the photos online and was perfect for myself, my daughter, parents and sister. We loved the screened in porch, the cozy kitchen, the comfy living area and the beds were absolutely heavenly to sleep in. The access to the park and the beach was easy and convenient. We drove into Savannah on several occassions and found it to be a quick and uncomplicated drive. Would recommened Crab Shack and Fannies on Tybee, Old Savannah Trolley Tours, Wormsloe Historic Site, Bonaventure Cemetery, River Street, Tybee Island Light Station and the beautiful beaches of Tybee. We'll be back!!! The Mermaid Cottages staff was wonderful!!

  Great location!! Short walk to beach and great park behind the house for kids. Only problem (but was handled professionally by Jan @ Mermaids) was neighbors had 3 dogs in joining unit that barked one night for 3 hours. Rude people suck!! Also, main TV not great but did not watch much--too much to see @ Tybee and Savannah. Thank you Mermaids for a wonderful vacation and professional service!

  Despite me changing our reservations, and other issues that I caused, the Mermaids were exceptional to us. I couldn't have asked for nicer treatment. The house we rented was called the "screened inn" and it was exactly as it was pictured and described. I have already recommended their company to many of my family and friends, and we plan to use them again.. :-)

  A wonderful spacious rental house!!! Perfect for a large family. Several kid friendly seating and play areas. Plenty of sleeping space. The bathroom that connects the kitchen and master bedroom is odd, but it was not as bad as I imagined. The location is excellent. We parked the car and rode our bikes all over the island. The Screened Inn was even better than I imagined. A perfect vacation!

  This property was in a great location and was so charming. The Screened Inn is beautifully furnished and decorated. We will definitely book again with Mermaid Cottages on our next trip to Tybee Island. It is obvious they take great care in making their

  A very nice visit to a quirky and cool island. The house was super cool with a very nice farmhouse feel. Really enjoyed the park behind the cottage as well. The beach was nice, but lots of jellyfish the week we were there.

  The layout of the house is quirky. It would be difficult to accomodate the number of people it could sleep because of the layout. But it was a great place for the 4 of us!

  We loved the cottage and decor. My only suggestion would be to provide more towels, wash cloths and toiet paper. There were seven of us so 2 rolls of toilet paper did not last long and I had to wash towels every day. Thank goodness for the washer and dryer.

  The Screened Inn was perfectly quaint -- decorated beautifully, complete with plenty of room and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom locations would have proven awkward if there had been more than two of us -- but because it was just us, it wasn't a big deal. The jaunt to the beach was OK, though we would've preferred it to be closer.
  The BIG surprise to us was we weren't the only guests, apparently. At night, we heard a knocking on the wall ... another night, we heard the knocking and someone scrubbing the floors. I'm a big fan of spirit activity, so it wasn't scary! Just didn't expect it ... innkeeper confirmed there's an old military officer who hasn't quite left the building!
  
  But we'd go back in a heartbeat:)

  We would definitely go back. The cottage was great. Could walk to the beach so didn't have worry about parking. It would be nice if there was a small cooler provided by the cottage to make it easier to pack a lunch when heading to the beach. Loved that it was a very quiet and private area.

  Only problems were that the dryer didn't work and one of the legs on the table in the living room fell off when we tried to pull it out from the wall. However, I would stay there again. Everyone that stayed with me said that they loved it.

  We loved the 'feel' of the cottage and the decor. It was very clean and comfortable. However, and unfortunately a pretty big however...the bathroom situation did not work at all. You walk thru the restroom which is directly off the kitchen to get to the master bedroom. If you need to use the bathroom (& you're not staying in the MB) you don't have any privacy from the kitchen or the MB which at night is no fun. We did have a great time on Tybee and overall loved the cottage. Having the walkway to the beach was also great.

  This cottage is great for families. It was like staying in a house out of a magazine. The amenities were great and the furnishinngs were beautiful. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly and in close proximity to everything. We enjoyed the cottage and will definitely stay there again!

  The cottage was very cute and inviting, but I want to share a few things with you just to make the next guest's stay even better. I am a big-time cook, and I felt as though the kitchen was lacking some basic essentials for cooking. A colander, more optional sizes for pots & pans, and basic spices would have been great. We also had to get the maintenance man to fix a clogged kitchen sink on our first day due to a plastic spoon wedged in the pipe from the last guest. A simple screen over the kitchen sink drain would prevent such items (and food) to not go down the pipe. We also noticed a dirty cleaning rag left out on the porch. Our stay was FANTASTIC, and we will definitely be staying with yall again. The cottage was beautifully decorated and comfortable, and our family felt right at home. I only mention the above things to help make the next guest's stay even better than ours, and we had a wonderful time! Thank you!!
