  Our stay was wonderful and we were so happy with the cottage! The beds were so comfortable, the a/c was perfect, plenty of hot water for four adults getting ready at one time, extremely clean, no odors from past pets and beautifully decorated. We loved the back sunroom sitting area and were able to totally relax. Short distance from the beach, quiet street and great location. We will definitely try to book this cottage first for our next beach trip! We appreciated the dog treats and tags for the dogs collars. Mermaids called us to make sure our cottage was perfect and we were happy to tell them it was great and no problems!

  I decided to make Tybee the location of my 55th Birthday Celebration and began my research for a place to stay starting with Mermaid Cottages. Paws and Paddles was not my first choice of where I wanted to stay on Tybee but by the time I was ready to make reservations my #1 choice was already taken for the dates of my trip. Well, I'm was very pleased with my #2 choice and my 3 night stay seemed a little short. The cottage was very clean, great colors, and I loved the location. I have not stayed on the North end of Tybee before but it was only a short walk to the lighthouse and very short drive to all my favorite places to eat.
  I most definitely would return to Paws and Paddles and recommend it to my friends.

  My husband and I just returned from the most FABULOUS stay in Paws and Paddles cottage on Tybee Island.We love to travel and I can say without a doubt that Mermaid Cottage Rental Agency AND Paws and Paddles cottage EXCEEDED our expectations in every way!!! The cottage was adorable,so clean and SUPER well equipped!!! The "Mermaids" were a delight to deal with and we can not wait to return to Tybee....Just wish we could never leave!!!

  The house was perfect for us. We had our choc lab Tucker and he felt right at home. My husband and I are bike riders so the location was perfect for that. Even thought we didn't need anything from the mermaids we knew they were there for us. We are looking forward to coming back soon.

  In all of the rental houses I've stayed in, I've never felt so "at home." This adorable, modern cottage had everything you could want, and then some. I felt like a princess then, went home relaxed and refreshed, plus having completed all the work I was there to do. I would highly recommend Paws and Paddles, and wished I'd brought my dog!

  Contemporary but still has the beach cottage feel. Clean,comfortable, well equipped. Convenient to the north beach, lighthouse, etc. None of the "quirks" that you sometimes find in older cottages. Mermaid Cottages has always been a pleasure to rent from-professional, expedient, and courteous. Although the cottages is pet friendly, there were no stray pet hairs, lingering odors, etc. Almost made us wish we had a dog who could enjoy the cottage with us. Highly recommended.

  My oldest daughter just mused to Savannah in May 2011. all she can talk about since then is how much she and her husband love spending their weekends on Tybee. Now we all know why. The house was so great and in a great location. We also took the dogs and they had a great time as well. We will definitley be back:)

  Two girlfriends from college and I spent the weekend here, and it was just great! The cottage isn't on the beach, but it's a short walk to everywhere and was quieter than those right on the strand. The decor was just adorable - beachy but not cheesy over the top. Our only suggestion was that we wish there was a map and where to eat guide in the cottage, but we found one at a nearby shop. Definitely eat at AJ's - it's a walk, but totally worth it. It was a great weekend, and I can't wait to return!

  I brought my 2 daughter in laws on a girl trip and we stayed at Paws and Paddles. It was an awesome place and the location was terrific. We enjoyed the house and everything we needed was there. We called about one of the tubs not draining and toilet running some and left to go shopping when we returned all was fixed and the office was very nice when we called. We got A+++ service and had an A+++ stay, thank you, we will be back.

  Paws and Paddles was just great for our small 3 generation gathering - we loved the cheerful decor that makes you feel at the beach the minute you walk through the door. The sun room was great and we spent most of our time there, and when cooking there's plenty of room in the living room, breakfast area for everyone to pitch in or just join the conversation. Great pantry and storage and the kitchen has everything you need. Tybee is becoming our favorite beach get away because of the Mermaid Cottages and the great personal attention from the Mermaids.

  This cottage was awesome! After arriving, my family didn't want to leave. My wife thought the house was tastefully decorated and even took pictures to give herself some ideas so we could decorate our house. The beds and furniture were extremely comfy. We were a short bike ride to the north beach and the lighthouse and a short drive to south beach. When the front porch light burned out, I called the management company to let them know and they had some someone out to the house within 15 minutes changing the bulb.
