  • This is the view of the back deck and the back of the home. The home sits on two lots so you have an entire lot of palm trees in the back yard.
  • The home also has lots of games to play!
  • This terrific deck is right off the living room and has the charcoal grill, seating and view of Butler Ave. The front lot is also part of the property and full of mature , lush palm trees. The beach is only an eay 5 minute walk from the cottage thru the lot and across Butler Ave. Either the 12th street or 11th Street beach access is yours. The yard is NOT fenced in.

  • We have a grill off the deck. The deck door goes right to the living room area.
  • The outdoor shower is private and has hot and cold water. Such fun to shower outside under the stars and sky!

  • Tucked Inn Cottage by Fifi Flowers. Matted prints sold at Seaside Sisters gift shop on Tybee Island! Be sure and take one home; great souvenir of your stay!
  • The kitchen doors leads right to the front porch and Lovell street.
  • The dining area features a farm style table with seating for 8. There is also two stools which sit at the counter. There is also a kitchen table and 6 chairs in the kitchen. Lots of seating for lots of family and friends meals!
  • The dining area leads right into the living room area.
  • The king bedroom has cable tv and a beautiful piece of orginal art by Maine artist- Sue White.
  • This bright and cheerful bedroom has 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed.

  • The blue bedroom is so soft and relaxing- in fact all the colors of Tucked Inn at Tybee are very calm and soothing.
  • This bedroom is so calming and relaxing. The pae blue walls and the twin bed make this ideal for a young family or an extra bed to relax and read.

  • The cottage features two full bathrooms. There is NOT a tub in either bathroom- just shower.
  • The two bathrooms are "jack and jill" stylee bathrooms. They are in between each of the bedrooms on both sides of the cottage.
  • All of our cottages feature our very own coffee created just for us by Jittery Joe's of Athens, GA. You can also purchase the coffee to take home at Seaside Sisters Coastal Cottage shop. Proceeds from the coffee go towards helping sea turtle projects in Georgia and around the world.
  • We sponsor a guide dog puppy each year with the proceeds of our rentals. We also provide ( and sell) Beach Bum Biscuits which also have the proceeds going towards our sponsorship of the guide dogs.

Classic beach house.Pet-friendly Cottage. 1.5 blocks from the beach. Newly renovated and decorated, Ideal for families, girls weekends or girl scouts. The cottage sits on two lots with the front lot facing Lovell Avenue and full of mature palm trees. The cottage's living room is all windows and overlooks the lot and Butler Avenue. Yet the home is far enough back from Butler to not have any noise. Please keep in mind the yard is not fenced in, but still very pet friendly. The outside deck features a charcoal grill and lots of seating. Complimentary High Speed and WIFI internet service, outdoor private shower with hot and cold water. The cottage is only 3 steps off the ground making this an easy access home for older folks or people with physical challenges. "This home is refreshingly pale like a cool linen suit!" Complimentary off-street parking for 3 cars.

    Older home that needs some minor repairs and updates. Great location. Close to beach. Next door to grocery store. Treed backyard makes it private. Open layout is good for larger groups. Management company was great.

    We had a wonderful stay in this great cottage! Eight adults and one energetic three year old spent a weekend together here. We never felt crowded, everyone had lots of room. The house is airy and open, and the location is phenomenal! Just steps to the grocery store for supplies and a five minute walk to the waves. Great house, and as always Mermaid Cottages was wonderful to work with.

    Our vacation started out with a few bumps. Mermaid did everything they could to assist us and we finally got underway.
    Everything was wonderful. I have not one complaint about the cottage or the way we were treated. We got there a little early and the cleaning staff was kind enough to allow us to put our perishables in the fridge while we waited, on the beach, for them to finish their excellent job.
    We're already planning our next trip and hope to stay at Tucked Inn whenever we come to Tybee Island.

    Tucked in at Tybee has a lot of good things going for it. The bedroom and bathroom setup is nice, the living area is very cozy. But the kitchen was a disappointment. The inside of the cupboards seem old and grimey. We were not impressed with the cookware selection(we do a lot of cooking and baking instead of eating out every night). Wish the front door/parking area was a bit more finished, felt like we were bringing more sand into the house than necessary more walkway or driveway out front. Air conditioning could be better, if the window units worked along with central would have helped. Denise and Joyce at Mermaid we very kind and helpful with our wishlist when we arrived, no questions asked assistance! Update the kitchen to match the rest of the cottage you you'll have a winner.

    We loved the location of the house. It was only a few blocks from the main pier, breakfast club (pecan waffles), sting ray's (awesome fried shrimp and scallops), and right next door to the Tybee Market. My only real complaint was that the central AC was not adequate. There were window ACs in every room, however, they were not operational.
