The Beach Boys have come to Tybee and landed at this fabulous 1940's Bungalow! 5 bedroom, 3 bathrooms. *We have an additional back small studio apartment which is part of the rental. This is upstairs and the studio apartment includes a kitchen, full bathroom and queen bedroom. Our home is a wonderful family gathering space, yet plenty of room for quiet time. Free WIFI, a beach cart and TV- even books to enjoy! The family friendly 9th Street beach is one easy block away. An easy walk or bike ride to almost everything on Tybee. *Note: the studio apartment is a completely separate space from the main cottage; separate building and not attached or accessible from the main cottage; entry is up the staircase located behind the main cottage. This space has it's own entry door. Perfect for privacy for adults traveling together who prefer their own space. Complimentary off-street parking for 3 small cars.

    For a last minute reservation, everything was great. If only the bungalow backed up to the beach, it would have been perfect, but absolutely great anyway!

    The "Beach Boys Bungalow" was the second cottage I've rented from Mermaid Cottages on Tybee Island in the past year. Once again, the funky Tybee charm and hospitality both come through in a most enjoyable way. Affordable, clean, fun, and highly recommended!

    We had a wonderful time in the cottage. It was so close to the beach and convenient to the restaurants we enjoy. There are 2 issues with this cottage. First, the master bath shower does not drain properly...we had to sweep the water down the drain in the shower after every use, which was sort of gross. Anyway, the next issue was the staircase leading up to the back cottage. They were very steep and hard to climb, especially for small children. Once these are redone, it will be great! We loved the studio cottage once we got up there. It was very comfortable.

    All the bedding was very comfortable and the house was nicely decorated. There was plenty of seating for dining and a great little cubicle for the children to eat in the kitchen.
