  Comfortable, artsy, full of interesting paintings, furnishings, and interior spaces, the cottage also was an easy walk to the beach. Mermaid staff were highly responsive when a need arose.

  My husband I I got married at the Tybee Island wedding chapel and stayed at this cottage before the wedding, and throughout our honeymoon. We were in love with this cottage, and especially loved all of the eclectic decor! The back porch was our favorite, especially the sound of the little fish fountain. Everything was clean and fresh and we had everything we needed. We hope to come back again soon!

  This was the best cottage we have ever stayed in during our 7 years of visiting Tybee. We cannot say enough positives about our stay. Everything was perfect. major standouts were the screened porch(a lot of time spent there) and of course the guys loved the rainforest shower.Perfect location, Perfect cottage. This cottage is now our new "beach dream." We will be back!!!!!

  We chose Jensen Cottage for a February escape from Atlanta. The experience at Jensen Cottage was great - just what we've come to expect from all cottages we've stayed at with Mermaid. It was very clean, quaint and had lots of personality. The decor was beautiful - lots of unique antiques and original pieces. The backyard and screened porch are very relaxing - too bad it was a bit cold to really enjoy them.
  Thanks for making our time there possible! We'll definitely be back to Mermaid Cottages for our next Tybee Vacation.

  The cottage is wonderful, and well suited to a beach cottage with two showers and a claw foot tub. Wonderful yard and weber grill, fireplace, and a very short walk to the Jitterbug Bakery (highly recommended). It is very well maintained, comfortable, and easy to settle down and relax in.

  Relaxing and stress free describe my recent stay at Mermaid Cottages "Jensen Cottage". I was in town for a friend's wedding and used the getaway as a relaxing weekend. The Jensen Cottage was so comfortable and felt just like I was at my own home. The screened porch with wind chimes and trickling fountain made me forget all my worries and enjoy the moment. The house was very clean and guest friendly. I especially appreciated the wi-fi code being easy to find. The location was great for my morning walks as the Tybee Lighthouse is just around the corner and beach access close by. Thank you for exceeding my expectations, Mermaid Cottages!

  Great communication with the staff, from beginning and until we turned the key. We had a great stay at the Jenson. Very nice and historical place to stay. Very spacious and the kitchen is phanominal. Enjoyed utilizing the outside shower after returning from the beach. Fenced in yard is fabulous for pets. Most our time spent was in the fresh air on the screened in porch. We highly recommend and plan on returning next year!!!

  Wonderful cottage. Super clean. Great amenities. Gourmet kitchen. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard. The only negative is that the street is busy and at night the traffic noise is a little annoying.

  This cottage is very well-equipped and very charming! The communication before arrival was absolutely perfect--directions were clear, no hidden fees or surprises. The cottage itself has one of the most well-equipped kitchens I have ever used at the beach. The pots and pans were not cast-offs but in excellent shape. Preparing meals there was a joy and eating meals on the screened porch was a perfect way to start and end the day. The property is a short walk to the beach. I knew the area, but for someone not as familiar it might be a good idea to study the map to determine the best route to get across the dunes. I liked the location because it was very quiet. The clawfoot tub is great for soaking and the shower with two different shower heads was also very nice--good water pressure. The decor is country cottage with lots of folk art and interesting things to discover. I was there for three days and each day I discoverd some but of whimsy I had missed earlier. The sofa and chaise in the living area are very comfortable, as is the king bed--did not use the second bedroom--but the linens were all high quality. I did not use the washer/dryer or outdoor shower, but may on a future stay. I hope to return to the Jensen Cottage and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beach escape.

  We absolutely LOVED staying in the Jensen Cottage we booked through . The entire process, from the time we booked to the time we left, was handled beautifully and with great professionalism. The cottage was comfortable and felt like home, from the first night we were there. It was furnished with high end appliances, cookware and dishes....everything you'd need to cook any meal. I LOVED having a washer and dryer provided..I came home and put away laundry instead of having to wash it all. The cottage was SO quiet..and nestled in a great little neighborhood only a couple of blocks from the beach. We honestly couldn't have asked for anything better....we plan on asking for this cottage again when we return! :-)

  The Mermaids/men provided excellent customer service. It truly felt like they were ready, willing, and able to do anything for us to make our stay more enjoyable. The cottage was very cute, comfortable and well appointed. It did seem like there was a repair needed to the ceiling in the guest room, but other than that the c1920 home was in great shape, well decorated and very spacious for us and our pets. The screened porch was really nice and complete with doggie doors of which our pets made good use. The fenced in yard was also a big plus for our pets. Loved the water feature and fish! Good location in the North Beach area. We'd love to visit Jensen Cottage again soon!

  My daughter and I loved our stay in the Jensen cottage. I especially liked how well stocked the kitchen was-- everything we needed. The only thing I would add to the cottage is a ceiling fan for the screened porch. It was a very hot week!
  Staff was great. I had trouble getting on the internet and they responded immediately and helped me.
  We would love to return.
