This Mid Century All Electric home has been restored using the "reduce, reuse and recyle" concepts. The owners were as "green" as possible - the energy star high efficiency washer, dryer, refrig, the blinds are bamboo, all the rooms have ceiling fans to circulate the air inside and all light bulbs are CFL. The original 1950's bathroom is still Mamie Eisenhower pink which was the color of choice for the women of the 1950's. This cottage is the beach home of a couple from Tennessee who had discovered Tybee a few years ago . This beach haven reminded them of the shore towns they had visited as a children. The home is a summary of the owners' love of the ocean, coastal south and the wonderful memories they have from trips to the beach. They look foward to sharing their cottage with others who need a peaceful retreat to rejuvenate and create "Memories at the Beach with their family and friends.
